Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in Trinity Christian School!

Admission Requirements

A credible profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by at least one parent of the applicant. Parent(s) must be fully supportive of the school’s Statement of Beliefs.

At least one parent and applicant faithfully attend a church in which the Bible is sincerely believed and faithfully taught.

Parent(s) commit to supporting the work of the school through prayer, volunteerism, and financial contributions.

Parent(s) understand and agree with the mission and philosophy of the school.

Applicant offers evidence of potential academic success in the school based on past records, entrance tests, and interviews.

Applicant offers evidence of high moral character, academic potential, emotional stability, a satisfactory behavior record, respect for authority, and adequate social adjustment.

Information and Tour  We invite you to meet with our Admissions Director and schedule a tour.  To start the process, please fill out an Inquiry Form or call our Admissions Office at 304-291-4659. Our Admissions Department will contact you once your Inquiry is received to set up a time for you and your family to visit our school. We look forward to introducing you to the Trinity experience.

Online Application – If you have already visited and/or are interested in applying for the 2017-18 school year, please complete the Online Application and return the necessary forms to the school. Our application process is tailored to the grade level of your child. The application process and required forms are tools designed to help us assess if Trinity Christian School will help meet the spiritual, academic, and social needs of your child.

Pre-School Application Process

  • Information and Tour
  • Complete Online Application for Admission
  • Submit copy of Birth Certificate from Bureau of Vital Statistics
  • Submit up-to-date immunization form(s)
  • Schedule and attend family interview
  • Please note: students entering K3 must be three-years-old on or before August 31. Students entering K4 must be four-years-old on or before August 31. All K3 and K4 students must be potty trained prior to the first day of classes.

Elementary School (K-5) Application Process

  • Information and Tour
  • Complete Online Application for Admission
  • Complete Tuition Grant application to Facts Grant and Aid Management (if applicable).
  • Submit official transcripts (grades 1-5)
  • Submit a copy of latest report card and standardized test scores (grades 1-5)
  • Submit copy of Birth Certificate from Bureau of Vital Statistics
  • Submit up-to-date immunization form(s)
  • Students applying for Kindergarten must submit completed 5-year Health Check form from your pediatrician saying your child has been screened for growth, speech, language, vision, and hearing.
  • Schedule and attend student assessment for Kindergarten.  Schedule and attend student assessment for grades 1-5 if needed
  • Schedule and attend family interview
  • Please note: Students entering Kindergarten must be five-years-old on or before August 31.

Middle/High School (6-12) Application Process

  • Information and Tour
  • Complete Online Application for Admission
  • Complete application for Tuition Grant to Facts Grant and Aid Management (if applicable)
  • Submit official transcripts (grades 6-12)
  • Submit copies of report cards and standardized test scores for current year and previous two years.
  • Submit copy of Birth Certificate from Bureau of Vital Statistics
  • Submit up-to-date immunization form(s)
  • Schedule and attend student assessment if needed
  • Schedule and attend family interview


Admissions Assessment for students entering Kindergarten  Upon receipt of all academic records, our Admissions Office will contact you to schedule your child’s assessment.

Admissions Assessment for students entering grades 1 through 12  Upon receipt of all academic records, our Admissions Office will contact you to schedule your child’s assessment if we feel it is necessary.

Family Interviews – Your family interview will be scheduled upon review of all academic records and in-house assessment if needed.  We ask that both parents and the student attend this interview.  Siblings are also welcome to attend.
