A time to celebrate

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…” ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1
The end of the year is a time to celebrate! Formal and informal, preschool through seniors — the form and function of our celebrations may change but our students are at the center of each one. We’re thanking the Lord for this season of celebration!
The high school Spring Formal, held at the Morgantown Marriot at Waterfront Place, was themed “In Bloom.” Our students looked stunning and the floral decor provided a beautiful backdrop for the evening of dinner and dancing. Thanks to all who helped organize, decorate, and chaperone the event!
The Early Education classes hosted Morning Muffins for moms and other special ladies in the students’ lives.
As part of their study of West Virginia history, the eighth-grade visited the West Virginia Penitentiary and the Grave Creek Mound in Moundsville.
The first-grade class had great weather for their trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo!
The Book Club for fourth and fifth grades celebrated a successful year with a pizza party and games! The fifth-grade class also hosted a baby shower for their teacher, Mrs. Darby.
The second-grade class took the bus to the Black Bears stadium for a cross-town field trip.
The Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh was a recent destination for fifth-grade. During their visit, the students had a chance to explore the USS Requin Submarine exhibit.
Always a special event, White Day Chapel is all about the seniors and their achievements. Following the chapel, the rest of the student body lined the halls for the Senior Walk. To conclude the seniors’ day, students and their parents hosted the teachers and staff for the White Day Brunch. We’re going to miss this Class of 2018!
