A Future and a Hope
Posted on January 15, 2026
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 ESV
The hope we have in Christ transcends this life. It’s rooted in eternity because of His death and resurrection. But isn’t it great to know we have a Savior who cares about our lives here and now, too? He promises to guide us and provide for us. How comforting!
This week we’re excited to share some good news and a few reminders.
- Our first semester Honor Roll for secondary students has been published! Congratulations to our students who have achieved this recognition.
- We’re thrilled to share that Trinity Christian School earned Platinum on the AP 2025 School Honor Roll. Platinum is the highest level on the College Board’s AP School Honor Roll, recognizing schools that significantly expand access and success in AP courses by meeting strict benchmarks for student participation (80% take one AP), college credit readiness (50% score 3+), and advanced engagement (15% take five or more APs, with some in 9th/10th grade). This status is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our AP faculty and their students. We are so proud of all of them!
- There is some great news for our West Virginia residents for the 2026-2027 school year regarding the Hope Scholarship! The Hope Scholarship program will be open to ALL K-12 West Virginia residents for 2026-2027, with public school enrollment no longer a requirement for eligibility. The Hope Scholarship staff has communicated to us that the 2026-2027 Hope Scholarship award is currently slated to be $5,435.62 pending legislative approval. There are important steps that your family should be taking now to ensure that your student receives the full funding that they are eligible for in the upcoming year. Details have been sent home to parents via email and the Monday Memo.
- For parents with students in 6th grade or lower, it may interest you the our Summer Camps will be opening registration at the beginning of February. Look for upcoming announcements through email, the Monday Memo, and social media.
- Lastly, if you’ve been after your friends and neighbors to join the Warrior family next year, invite them to a Spring Open House! We have one for Pre-K through 12th on Thursday, March 19 from 5:30-7PM and a Preschool Open House a week later on Thursday, March 26 from 5:30-7PM. We will be sharing about the Open Houses on social media, so you can easily tag or message your friends with the information.
