Do Good

“So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10

It seems everywhere we look, we see our Warrior family doing good. So we are dedicating this blog to a few of the many members of our TCS community who serve and bless one another.

  • It’s Teacher Appreciation Week so it fits to start this list with our amazing teachers. Our teachers’ influence extends far beyond the classroom. They serve as prayer warriors, role models, mentors, confidants, and cheerleaders. We are so blessed to have them serve at Trinity Christian School.
  • This week was also Nurse Appreciation Week. We can’t forget to thank our team of nurses who care for each student who visits their office! Nurse Michelle and Nurse Cassidy treat each child like their own and always look for ways to improve the health and safety of the school community. Please express your gratitude to these ladies!
  • Coaches have such a big influence on our students! They put in long hours after their day jobs, travel long distances for competitions, and try to help student-athletes balance their studies with athletics. They teach athletic skills and important life lessons with every practice and game. Shout-out to our Warrior coaches!
  • TCS donors and friends support the school behind the scenes, rarely expecting recognition and often asking to remain anonymous. This past weekend’s Night of Transformation was an example of our community coming together to raise funds for Tuition Assistance. Local businesses, parents, guests, and community members went above and beyond to make tuition affordable for needy families. We can’t wait to announce the total amount raised soon!
  • A gift from a faithful supporter, Mr. Richard G. Snyder, enabled us to purchase a beautiful 15-passenger van for transporting students on field trips, outreaches, and athletic contests. Thank you Mr. Snyder for this incredible gift to the school. Thanks also to AutoMax for detailing and servicing the van so it is ready to hit the road.
  • Our Student Council invested countless hours planning and fundraising to create a beautiful and fun prom. The evening went perfectly and was well-attended. It’s great to see our student leaders buy into building a dynamic school culture.
  • The high school Praise Team led worship for Morgantown’s National Day of Prayer event last week. Our high school student body also attended. They were the only students among the local pastors and adults who gathered to worship and pray. We are proud of their leadership and heart for Jesus!
  • This list could go on and on. Administrators, board members, staff, parents, grandparents, and more make up a rich and diverse Warrior family who “do good” in honor of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. As long as our school exists so will the opportunities to do good. Thanks for being a part of the work at Trinity Christian School!
