He Has Done Great Things

“…He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name.” ~ Luke 1:49 ESV
All of us can sing along with these words of Mary’s song of praise. The maker of the universe came to earth to set us free from sin and death! What a great thing to celebrate this Christmas!
As we close out 2025, we’re mindful of all the Lord’s blessings this year. We are so grateful for His care for us. We also know that, despite the joy the holiday brings, some of our students, families, and staff may be facing difficulties. Health issues, family problems, and financial challenges don’t disappear because it’s December; if anything, we can feel them more acutely because of the holidays.
Be assured, He is with you. His mercy and strength are there for you, as promised in verses 50-55 of Mary’s song:
“And His mercy is for those who fear Him from generation to generation.
He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts;
He has brought down the mighty from their thrones and exalted those of humble estate;
He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty.
He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy,
as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his offspring forever.” ~ Luke 1:50-55 ESV
Whether you are in a season of rejoicing or sadness this Christmas, we are praying for you and are grateful that your family is part of our Trinity family. May the true peace and joy found in Christ alone fill your hearts and minds, reassuring you that He loves and cares for you. Merry Christmas!
