It’s Greek to Me

Our seventh-grade students have been working on a cross-curricular study of Ancient Greek/Rome Civilizations and Greek Mythology coordinated by history teacher Mr. White and English teacher Mrs. McCoy. The classes collaborated for an exciting week filled with City-State presentations, a Mediterranean Feast, their own Olympic Games, and a special movie presentation.
“Greek Week” was just one of many activities this week. The elementary students celebrated the 100th day of school, our high school girls advanced to play in the OVAC championship this Saturday, and senior Carmelo Kniska was honored for being accepted into Columbia University!
