Salt and Light

This past Friday, our fourth-grade students joyfully shared “salt and light” throughout our school. While handing out sweet posters with their own original artwork based on Matthew 5:13-16, they reminded us all that we are called to be salt and light in the world.
Every day, our students have opportunities to be salt and light at home and in school. And with recent music, drama, and sports competitions, our students have plenty more opportunities to shine the light of Jesus in our community and region.
May we all be faithful to respond to the call of Matthew 5:16, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
