Sharing His Love

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a
While human love has so many limitations, God’s love is extraordinary. His love NEVER fails!
We witnessed a little bit of God’s love in action when first-graders exchanged valentines today. Not only did each student give their classmates a card or treat, but they also shared a personal attribute about the recipient. You could tell the kind words touched the hearts of the children. It was such a sweet example of showing God’s love in the simplest of ways. While the cards and treats will eventually be discarded, those words may linger for days, months, or years.
