Sharing Hope
Posted on April 16, 2026
After celebrating Easter and enjoying spring break, we jumped right back into the final weeks of the school year. And what a full week it’s been!
Our student-athletes have been extra busy, fieldtrips are starting up, testing season is upon us for older students, and our Night of the Arts is next Tuesday. All are welcome to attend this special celebration of the arts on April 21 from 5-7:00 PM. For this event, you can browse a wide variety of visual art throughout the building, followed by performances by our music and drama students.
Amidst all of those good and important things, our main focus this week is preparing for our first Warriors For Hope Pack-a-Thon taking place tomorrow morning. During this high-energy service challenge, our student mentors and their buddies will pack 10,000 meals in partnership with Meals of Hope to combat food insecurity, 100 backpacks for children entering foster care placement, and raise vital funds for our Tuition Assistance Program. We anticipate the packing to be completed in 4 hours or less.
Why are we doing this? Because as part of our mission to educate for life, we want to offer our Warriors an opportunity to serve others. While the nourishing meals, the backpacks filled with fun and necessary items, and the provision of tuition assistance will help people in need, we also want to share the love and hope that Jesus has lavishly given to us. We don’t want our students to experience the joy of serving and doing it together.
Please pray that the Lord may use tomorrow’s event for His glory in ways we may not even be able to fathom. If you would like to give a gift of support, visit the event donation page here.
