Warrior Soccer Players Named Scholar All-Americans

Trinity Christian School 2024 graduates Carmelo Kniska and Ben Lohmann have the distinct honor of being named 2023-24 United Soccer Coaches High School Scholar All-Americans. This team represents the nation’s best on the soccer field and in the classroom during their cumulative high school careers.
Kniska (4.6 GPA) was a 1st Team All-State selection this past year, scoring 25 goals for the 1A-3A OVAC champions. Lohmann (4.25 GPA) was twice named the West Virginia A/AA Goalkeeper of the Year and 1st Team All-State. He was also the Region 1 Player of the Year and finalist for State Player of the Year. Kniska and Lohmann are the first All-Americans in Trinity Christian School history and the only players from West Virginia on the team. There were 43 boys selected as Scholar All-Americans.
Kniska and Lohmann are invited to attend the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony on January 11, 2025, In Chicago, Ill., where they will be honored alongside the 2024 All-Americans and Scholar All-Americans for youth, high school, and college soccer.
Kniska will attend Columbia University this fall while Lohmann will continue his studies at West Virginia University.
