Warriors For the Win

One phrase comes to mind when looking back on this week: Warriors For The Win! It’s been a winning week—and we’re not just talking athletics.
Yes, our high school cross country teams did win the OVAC 1A-2A titles—back-to-back for the girls and the first ever in school history for the boys! That is a huge win for the team and the school! And our boys middle school cross country team scored another big win with the Mason-Dixon Conference title. Another big win! But there were many other wins for our school:
- We celebrated Homecoming week with fun and festivities! (More on that next blog!)
- Our STEM students installed a radio telescope on campus as part of the SunRISE mission.
- Our soccer team had a successful Youth Soccer Day and collected nearly 20 stuffed animals for WVU Medicine Children’s.
- Three of our STEM students are on their way to Texas to help with NASA’s high-altitude balloon mission during the solar eclipse.
But the best win of all? We can freely worship God in our chapel services, pray in our classrooms, and share the truth of God’s Word every single day.
