Where Two or More

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:20 ESV
Yesterday, our students and staff gathered to pray around the flagpole as part of See You at the Pole, a global prayer event for students. Our school community met at the start of the day, joining first in a time of worship led by the high school praise team, and then breaking into smaller groups to pray. Each elementary class set aside time to lift their prayer needs before the Lord around the flagpole as well.
While many schools are not permitted to use time in the classroom to pray, our teachers and students have the distinct privilege of doing so EVERY day! We don’t take this privilege for granted. Our administrative team encourages the teachers and staff to make time each day to pray with and for our students. We know from where our help comes; it comes from the Lord who has made the heavens and the earth! (Psalm 121:1-2)
As we reflect on this week at the school, we are so grateful we can come before our heavenly Father with thanksgiving and prayers, with full assurance that He hears us.
