Another Warrior Send-Off

It was another week of celebrating Warrior basketball as we sent our boys’ team back to the State Tournament for the second consecutive year! We are so proud of the guys and their efforts to win the Regional Championship and the right to play in Charleston.
Sending our athletes off to States is such a community-building event! All the students in the school demonstrate their support for the state-bound athletes by clapping, cheering, and high-fiving them the whole way out the doors. The “Warrior Gauntlet” only takes a few minutes, but it has a lasting impact on the athletes and the younger students who aspire to be like them.
While the boys had their appearance at the tournament cut short after a loss to Charleston Catholic today, our support for them is just as strong. We’re proud to watch their growth as a program and as individuals.
We also celebrated new inductees into the Trinity Christian Honor Society this week. To qualify for this special group, junior or senior students must apply and be selected based on their GPA (3.5 GPA as a senior or a 3.75 GPA as a junior), performing community service hours, and displaying Christ-like qualities, scholarship, and character. It is quite an honor to be chosen and we are proud of our new and current members!
