Anticipation
Posted on December 3, 2020
Advent is a season of anticipation. With awe and wonder, we reflect on the historical events surrounding the birth of Christ. According to Oxford Languages, the word advent means “the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event.” As Christians, that notable person is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords: Jesus, our Savior! Now that is cause for great celebration!
We are blessed to be in a school where we can share His Word freely, talk about the wonder of His birth, and teach students the true meaning of Christmas. May we all take the time to anticipate the celebration of our soon-coming King!
The week started out with 3 Cyber Days. It’s always fun to see our teachers’ creative approaches to virtual learning!
Since they were doing schoolwork from home, some of our students took the time to enjoy the first big snowfall of the year!
Our preschoolers had a Pajama Day today!
Even our WELL classrooms are preparing for Christmas with holiday toys and decorations.
