Dramatic Ending
Posted on February 27, 2025
Last week ended on a dramatic note when our drama department inducted the newly formed Thespian Troupe’s first members, honored the seniors, and presented an encore performance of Her Senior Year. It was a history-making night for the department, and we commend these students and Director Colton Daft on their hard work and dedication.
Friday also marked the end of Spiritual Emphasis Week with a special elementary chapel featuring Pastor Christy Johnson as the speaker and the high school Praise Team leading worship. The secondary chapel featured a panel of guests sharing how they live out their faith in their families, the workplace, and the community to help students see how being a Christian can inform and impact all aspects of your adult life. To top it all off, generous donors provided lunch and special treats for our students. It was a fun way to end the event. Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Spiritual Emphasis Week memorable.
This week’s warmer temperatures found our students spending some much-needed time outdoors. We’ve also had classroom visitors—two-legged and four-legged—to enhance students’ learning and engagement.
We are grateful for our school community members who invest their time, talent, and wisdom so our students may grow in their faith and calling.
