Fanning into Flame: 2012 Graduation
Posted on July 3, 2012
Graduation. For some of us it is a word that evokes memories and emotions from our past. For others it represents a goal, yet to be attained. For the Trinity Christian School class of 2012 it signifies a turning point. A turning point that is the culmination of late night study sessions, moments shared with friends, and prayers lifted up by parents and mentors. A turning point that will lead to new experiences, built on the previous ones.
The goal of the faculty and staff of Trinity Christian School has been to fan the gift of God, in each of these students, into a flame that will burn brightly in the world. (2 Timothy 1:6 and Philippians 2:15) Shine brightly, Trinity Christian School Class of 2012!
Family and staff members joined together to celebrate the seniors and their achievements at the annual Baccalaureate dinner, a treasured tradition at Trinity, hosted by the junior class members and their families.
Mrs. Stinespring, High School English and Bible teacher, shared the invocation during the commencement ceremony.
Mr. Daniel Buggs inspired the graduates and audience members with his faith-filled commencement address.
Former Administrative Principal Mike Staud returned to present the diplomas to the class of 2012. Bill Post, on behalf of the Board of Directors and the Trinity family, honored Mr. Staud by naming the band room “The P. Michael Staud Band Room”.
Congratulations, Trinity class of 2012!
