Giving thanks always

“…giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” Ephesians 5:20 ESV
Thanksgiving isn’t limited to a day or a month. It’s a lifestyle. Looking around the school, there are so many people and things for which to give thanks.
When you watch a self-conscious student grow into a confident one or witness a student offer unsolicited assistance, you can’t help but give thanks. When you see teachers, parents and community members going above and beyond to invest in the lives of students, thanksgiving flows.
Every day and in everything, we give thanks.
Geneticist Michelle Spruill visited seventh grade science classes and presented a lesson on cell structure and chromosomes. Students created candy cells during this hands-on lesson.
WVU students from the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration paid a visit to a combined group of fourth and fifth grade science students. They shared the impact of natural resources on the everyday lives of our students.
K-5 “farmers” welcomed visitors to the Elementary hallway as part of a fall-themed display.
We’re thankful for our Partners in Education: My Bank and Citynet for all they do throughout the year! Trinity students’ works of art are currently on display at the Sabraton branch of My Bank.
Students have jumpstarted a school-wide recycling campaign. We’re proud of their initiative and thankful for their efforts.
