Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,[ who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. ~ Philippians 2:5-7
Providing opportunities to serve each other and the community is one of the ways we hope to instill a heart for service in our students. It’s such an important value of ours that we devote certain days during the year to community service. In addition, our high school students are required to serve 40 hours per year as part of their graduation requirements. While our service is impacting our community, it is also changing us as a school community. Our prayer is that we become more Christ-like in the process!
While community service is a value of ours, it is only one component of Educating for Life. In this video, you’ll see many of the service projects along with recent activities that took place in and out of the classroom.
