How sweet the sound

Sweet sounds of heartfelt singing filled the gym on Grandparents’ Day, one of many events that took place over the past several days. Others included the Breakfast with Characters, Night on Broadway, and a visit from WVU’s Musket the Dog. Meanwhile, our entire high school embarked on a 3-day trip to Washington, D.C.!
Factor in students traveling to the Regional Social Studies Fair, the fourth-grade States Fair, Math Olympics, and a visit from David Scotten sharing his personal story of adoption, and you might imagine that superheroes aren’t the only folks capable of accomplishing herculean tasks. The faculty, administration, students, and our fantastic parent-volunteers can pull off some impressive feats, too.
How do they do it? It comes down to grace. Empowering grace. The grace which we celebrate this Easter season is the same grace that propels us in our mission to educate for life. As we prepare for the Easter holiday and Spring Break, we’re thankful for His amazing grace!
