More Precious

“Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her.” ~ Proverbs 3:13-15 ESV
Beautiful gemstones painted by Art I students line the upper-level main hallway of the school. Above the paintings, words from Proverbs 3:15 remind us that God’s wisdom is even more valuable than precious jewels. From these paintings to second-graders reenacting the fall of the walls of Jericho, this week held reminders of what makes Christian schools unique. We have the freedom to teach from God’s word, worship together in Chapel services, and point our students to a relationship with Christ.
Those freedoms have been protected by the men and women who have served our country in the military over the years. We are excited to welcome some of them tomorrow, November 11 from 10-11 a.m. for our annual Veterans Day Celebration. Please feel free to invite local veterans to join us for this special event.
