More Precious Than Gold

Last weekend was jam-packed with Homecoming fun! Pre-game events included a “Color Wars” volleyball tournament between secondary classes—ultimately won by 8th grade—a pep rally, and a tailgating competition won by the Class of 2025. The Warriors never gave up as they fought a much larger Clear Spring team. Although they didn’t come out with the win, they put forth a valiant effort.
After the game, the high school students enjoyed the beautiful, crisp fall evening around a bonfire. Then on Saturday, the high school girls and guys swapped their Warrior wear for dress clothes to dance and hang out together at the Homecoming Dance.
These moments together are precious, but a sign at a Homecoming tailgate tent expressed what is more precious than gold: Our faith in Jesus Christ!
