New Twist on a Tradition
Posted on October 24, 2024
This year, our Homecoming traditions took on a new twist when the evening featured an intrasquad Red vs. White football game. It was a night to remember with incredible weather, class tailgating, a bake-off, senior recognition, the game, and crowning Homecoming Queen Tiffani and King Caden.
The memorable weekend continued for our high school students with a post-game bonfire on Friday night and a circus-themed Homecoming Dance on Saturday. The Student Council, under the guidance of Ms. Ashley, outdid themselves with planning the event. Thanks to all who donated decorations, prepared food for the tailgates, and served behind the scenes to make the entire weekend extra special.
While Homecoming dominated this past week, we also had many other important events that were no less special. Our middle school boys cross country team earned the title of Mason-Dixon champs as did our high school girls volleyball team. The middle school girls volleyball team added to the accolades when it was named Mason-Dixon runner-up. And we can’t forget that we have Chapel each Thursday—always a highlight of the week.
With all the activity this week’s video borders on a full-length feature film so grab the popcorn and enjoy!
