Our Helper

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.” ~ John 14:16-17 ESV
What a great promise: That the Holy Spirit would be a helper to us, as followers of Christ!
This past week has been so full. Spring sports are underway, secondary students had Spiritual Emphasis Days with daily chapels, and we had a Spirit Week leading up to the annual Hoop-A-Thon. We are in the final quarter of the year, so the finish line is in sight.
In this season, it is such an assurance to know that we can point students to the Helper! He can strengthen, equip, enable, and comfort them in ways we can’t. He can fill their hearts with joy, peace, hope, and love. We are trusting Him as we finish out the 2021-2022 school year!
