Praying together

“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” ~ Romans 12:4-5
Isn’t it good to know we are part of a larger community of believers? That our school is connected by faith to other Christian schools, not just locally, but around the world?
The ACSI Day of Prayer, held this past Tuesday, February 23, was a great opportunity for our students and staff to join with Christian schools around the globe and call out to God. The students visited age-appropriate prayer stations, lifting up prayers at each one. Then students wrote and posted personal prayers of petition and thanksgiving.
We are so grateful for our Prayer Team—a group that meets weekly to pray for our school—who helped make the experience relevant and meaningful by creating the stations for the students. They lead by example, as behind-the-scenes servants who faithfully lift up the needs of the students and staff.
As you watch this video featuring images from the Day of Prayer and more, will you join us in lifting prayers and praises to the Lord for our school and Christian schools worldwide? We have many needs in our school and community, yet we also owe Him so much gratitude for His faithfulness to us!
