Rejoice, Weary World
Posted on December 20, 2024
As we finish the last week of school for 2024 and prepare for Christmas break, the school is filled with beautiful reminders of Christmas. Artful depictions of Jesus’s humble birth, people exchanging cards and gifts, and students decked out in fun and festive Christmas attire.
Our middle school choir added to the Christmas cheer by caroling several places in our community. Best of all, our first graders retold the Christmas story for the elementary chapel today, refocusing us on who and why we celebrate this time of year: our Savior and King, Jesus!
So if you’re feeling weary from the burdens of this world you still have great cause to rejoice. As the angel declared to the unsuspecting shepherds, “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11) Our “thrill of hope” is Jesus and He promises never to leave or forsake us!
From our Warrior family to yours, have a Merry and Blessed Christmas!
