Remembering May
Posted on May 30, 2013
Know who you are and Whose you are.
That was the message that commencement speaker Jeff Hostetler left with the Trinity Christian School Class of 2013. It’s a message that bears repeating.
Know who you are and Whose you are.
May that message resonate with each of the Trinity students as they start their summer break. May they be reminded when they look in the mirror, as they work a summer job or attend a summer camp. May they remember that they are not their own. They are His children created for His purposes.
May we parent, teach, mentor, and nurture with that message in mind. Enjoy looking back on a sampling of the many activities of the month of May at Trinity Christian School.
4th and 5th grade musicians patiently await their turn to perform for their classmates and guests at the Elementary Band showcase.
After studying genetics in Science class, middle school students were introduced to a real life lesson: a litter of pure bred puppies.
The girls high school softball team took time to pray before a game.
It was a rebuilding year for Trinity baseball, with several players competing for the first time.
The Trinity girls’ 4×800 relay placed 6th in the WV State Track meet, breaking the school record.
Trinity staff members shared laughter and tears with Mrs. Susan Stinespring at a reception given in her honor. After years of faithful service, Mrs. Stinespring recently announced her departure from Trinity to take a position as an Adjunct teaching English at Alderson Broaddus College.
Congratulations to the Trinity Christian School Class of 2013! Always remember who you are and Whose you are.
