Solid Ground

Since Monday, we’ve been celebrating Spiritual Emphasis Week. Our students participated in a variety of activities together including a prayer walk and mentor and buddy time. We’ll end the week with a kick-off for our spring service project tomorrow.
During one of the mentor and buddy sessions, some of the older students led their younger buddies in a worship song. The lyrics offer a good reminder as to why focusing on spiritual growth is so meaningful and important.

Because of Christ’s love and sacrifice, we can stand on solid ground. Spiritual Emphasis Week affords us the perfect opportunity to explore and reinforce the life-changing truths of the Gospel and show our love for one another. Only the Lord knows how students’ lives are touched through these intentional moments of focusing on Him. We trust Him for a harvest of spiritual fruit.
