Some school!

If you’re familiar with the story of Charlotte’s Web, you know that Charlotte the spider spins messages like “Some Pig” and “Terrific” in her web to describe her friend Wilbur the pig. As we shared in last week’s blog, the third grade classes read the chapter book together. The Friday before Thanksgiving, the third-graders, many of them dressed like their favorite Charlotte’s Web character, paid homage to the book’s ending by launching baby “spiders” from the mezzanine in the gym. It was so fun to watch!

Tonight, all are invited to kick-off the Christmas season with the elementary students when they present their Christmas play at Chestnut Ridge Church at 6:30 p.m. It will be a joyous celebration of Jesus’s birth! Our students have been practicing very hard in preparation, so we hope you can join us.

Whether classroom activities like “spider launches” or watching our kids sing about the meaning of Christmas, moments like these are examples of why we love sharing what our administrators, teachers, coaches, and students do day-to-day! Just as Charlotte wanted to proclaim the wonderful attributes of her friend Wilbur, we want to let everyone know that Trinity Christian School is a special place.

What makes us most special? Christ alone. We want to see Him exalted in our school and in the lives of our students!
