Sowing and growing

“The seeds you plant now will make life worse or better for you or the ones who come after you.” ~ Trinity teacher and parent, Jodi Shoemaker
Last Friday night, we gathered to celebrate our 2021 Trinity Champions Dr. Libby Neely and Mr. Mike Staud at our second annual Spring Gala to raise funds for Tuition Assistance at Trinity. It was a great night to gather together, made even sweeter by the fact that last year’s event had to be canceled due to the pandemic.
During the evening, teacher and parent Mrs. Jodi Shoemaker shared her story of how receiving Tuition Assistance made a big impact on her family years ago. She encouraged the listeners that although we don’t always see the fruit of the seeds we sow, we still need to be obedient to continue sowing and watering.
Libby Neely and Mike Staud have sown into the ministry of Trinity Christian School for years. But they are not alone. So many employees, volunteers, parents, and supporters have given time, talent, or treasure with the intent that students would be prepared for life spiritually, academically, physically, artistically, and socially.
In this week’s blog, you’ll see glimpses of the sowing and growing that takes place on a regular basis through the daily work at Trinity Christian School.
To our board members, teachers, coaches, and staff—past and present: Thank you for sowing!
If you have volunteered: Thank you for sowing through service!
If you have given resources: Thank you for sowing materially!
If you have prayed for our school or spoken at a chapel: Thank you for sowing spiritually!
In all of the sowing, our focus is on the One who can make the seeds grow: Our Father! We give Him all thanks and praise for bringing growth in His time!
“It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.” ~ 1 Corinthians 3:7 (NLT)
