TCS Summer Camp – Summer 2025
Join us for an unforgettable summer filled with fun, adventure, and the love of Jesus! Our camp runs from June 2 to August 6, 2025, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is for rising first graders through rising 7th graders (up to age 12). Early care is available starting at 7:30 a.m. for an additional $10 a week. Open enrollment for camp will begin on March 1st. Please check back here for the link.
Pricing:
- $150 for 3 days a week
- $200 for a full week
- $175 activity fee per camper
- $50 registration fee per camper
Important Information:
- Experienced Staff: Led by passionate, certified TCS teachers with years of experience in Christian education and childcare.
- Background Checked and Certified Counselors: All staff are CPR/First Aid/AED certified for your child’s safety.
- Weekly Field Trips: Including trips to the new Marilla pool and exciting local destinations.
- Chapel Time: A special gathering for worship, prayer, and learning.
- Snacks Included: Enjoy daily snacks as part of the camp fee; campers may bring their own lunch or purchase a healthy, hot lunch provided by Healthy Kids ($5/day).
- Free Pizza Fridays: All campers enjoy free pizza every Friday!
- Minimum 5-Week Registration: Ensures your child gets the most out of camp.
- Registration Deadline: Closes May 14, 2025, or earlier if camp reaches maximum capacity.
Weekly Themes:
Week 1 (June 2-6): Aloha to Summer: Guided by His Light
Kick off the summer in true Hawaiian style as we welcome the sunny season! During this week, campers will learn how God’s light shines in our lives while exploring fun tropical-themed activities. Activities include beach ball volleyball, tiki torch relay, Hawaiian lei crafting, and a Hawaiian Luau Party complete with limbo!
Week 2 (June 9-13): Wild Wonders: His Perfect Design
Step into the wild as we explore God’s incredible creations! From the smallest bugs to the tallest giraffe, campers will experience the wonder of animals, while marveling at the intricate designs of God’s creation and the world around us. Activities include wildlife bingo, animal-themed crafts, and even a trip to the zoo!
Week 3 (June 16-20): In God’s Creation, We Explore
We’re going on an adventure into the heart of God’s world! Whether it’s exploring the forests, rivers, or skies, this week will be filled with exciting exploration activities that help us connect with God’s wonderful world through hands-on learning and outdoor fun. Activities include making homemade bird feeders, a nature scavenger hunt, and a trip to observe the natural wonders of Coopers Rock.
Week 4 (June 23-27): Out of This World, Faith Beyond the Stars
Blast off into the universe and explore the stars, planets, and galaxies God created! From studying the night sky to looking at how vast God’s creation truly is, this week will spark wonder and awe as we set our sights on the stars. Activities include mission space-themed escape rooms, constellation mapping, a real-life version of Among Us, and an educational trip to the planetarium!
Week 5 (June 30-July 2): Fireworks of Faith
Get ready for an explosion of fun as we celebrate freedom and fireworks with a week of spectacular activities and a powerful reminder of God’s love that shines bright, just like fireworks in the night sky. Activities include DIY fireworks art projects, sidewalk chalk art competition, red, white, and blue balloon challenges, and a glow stick party in the gym.
Week 6 (July 7-11): Olympic Champions for Christ
This week, we’ll train to be Olympic champions in both physical activity and in our walk with Christ! Through team challenges, Olympic games, and faith-based lessons, we’ll discover the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and striving for greatness in all we do. Activities include team Olympic challenges, team-building exercises, and a trip to the bowling alley to put our skills to the test.
Week 7 (July 14-18): Sharing God’s Love Everywhere
This week is all about spreading God’s love, whether through kind words, good deeds, or creative acts of service. Campers will discover how powerful it can be to share love with others, and how to live as examples of Christ’s love in all areas of life. Activities include community service projects, random acts of kindness challenges, and heartfelt cardmaking for others.
Week 8 (July 21-25): Created to Create
God has given us incredible gifts, and this week, campers will embrace their creativity! From art to music to building things, we’ll explore the ways we can express our unique creativity while appreciating how God created each of us with purpose. Activities include art and crafts projects, music and dance sessions, and building projects using recyclable materials. We’ll conclude the week with an exciting trip to Big Bear’s water park, celebrating God’s creation through fun and adventure!
Week 9 (July 28-August 1): Shining His Light – A Week of Performing for God’s Glory
We’ll focus on how we can shine God’s light through our words and actions. This week, we’ll explore how to boldly reflect God’s love by using the powerful art of performance, including skits, songs, and dramas. With creative performances, we’ll show how our lives can be a stage for His glory, shining brightly for all to see! Activities include camper-created skits, charade games, and improv challenges. We’ll wrap up the week with exciting camper performances, where everyone gets the chance to shine!
Week 10 (August 4-6): A Summer Well Spent: Thankful for Jesus’ Love and the Memories
As the summer comes to a close, we’ll reflect on all the fun, laughter, and lessons we’ve shared. It’s a time to thank God for His love and the memories we’ve made together. Let’s celebrate the joy of the season with gratitude in our hearts and a joyful spirit, cherishing the moments we’ve experienced, and looking forward to carrying those memories into the future with Jesus’ love always guiding us. Activities include memory-making photo journals and a final talent show with camper performances.
