Wintry Mix

Psalm 46 starts off with the words,
“God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1 ESV)
Between inclement weather and sickness, this past week at school has been constantly disrupted and anything but normal. In the midst of so many changes and uncertainty, the words of this psalm bring great comfort.
He is a refuge. He is our source of strength. He is our help in trouble. And He is present. He hasn’t disappeared; He is with us. Because of that fact, we can trust Him and rest in Him as we are instructed to do later on in same chapter.
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10 ESV)
Such a reassurance, that despite the troubles we face, He is with us! And we are so grateful.
Because of the unusual week, this week’s video focuses on the Winter Club’s trip to the Wisp Resort. It is so wonderful to see our students and families having fun enjoying God’s amazing creation!
