Hoopin’ it Up
Posted on March 25, 2021
It has been quite a week! Last year at this time, the pandemic caused us to change our annual Hoop-A-Thon from an in-person event to a virtual one. Keeping traditions like the Hoop-A-Thon alive is important to us, so this year we were excited to hold the event on campus once again! Sure, we had to modify it a bit, but it has been great seeing the kids having fun shooting hoops and hula-hooping. And we’re not done yet! Tomorrow we’ll wrap things up, ending the day with a Hoop-A-Thon free-throw secondary shoot-out. The winning student team will play a team made up of faculty and staff members. It’s going to be a lot of fun AND raise funds for our school!
Although a focal point, the Hoop-A-Thon wasn’t the only thing happening this week. One of the highlights every week is our students praising God during chapel times. It’s a joy to share a few of those moments and more along with Hoop-A-Thon highlights.
