Humbled and grateful

This is a humbling work. We seek to “glorify God through honoring Christ, inspiring excellence, and educating for life.” It’s a lofty goal, and we recognize that any success in achieving it will be through His power alone.
Just a few weeks back, the board and administration held an important parent meeting where we collectively discussed the spiritual, academic, and financial challenges and goals for our school. It was an engaging discourse where concerns, questions and ideas were exchanged. While the school leadership was grappling with questions, unbeknownst to us all, the Lord was working behind the scenes with answers. Have you found that many times the solutions come through God stirring the hearts of His people?
And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him, and everyone whose spirit moved him, and brought the Lord‘s contribution to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments. ~ Exodus 35:21 ESV
In the days following the meeting, a letter, accompanied by a gift of $131,000, was sent to the school in the care of Superintendent Ms. Stellato. The impact of the gift was so much larger than the dollar value. It represented the heart of the Lord’s grace and provision through ALL His gifts – large and small, monetary and intangible. It represented the power of obedience of each and every servant doing the part God has called them to do. We are humbled and grateful, not only for this gift, but for each and every one – gifts of prayer and of time; gifts of service and encouragement; gifts too numerous to mention. All those gifts reflect the hand of God. As Ms. Stellato recently said, “I have no doubt that the Lord is working in and through this school to move us forward.”
So it is with thankful hearts that we share this video – created by combining photos of our students and their classroom activities with the reading of the aforementioned letter by Ms. Stellato.
