Momentum

We passed the mid-term of the first quarter last week. The newness of the year has worn off and you can feel the momentum build as teachers and students begin to hit their stride inside and outside the classroom.

It’s exciting to witness the day-to-day growth of our students. This week our kindergarten class encountered nature with a fresh perspective as a part of their study of science through the new FOSS curriculum. Second graders gave practical application to spiritual truths when they reached out with kindness to staff members, while third-grade Spanish students paraded through the school to celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day. The atmosphere was equally as lively at a secondary student-mentor luncheon prepared by faculty and staff.

Our fall sports teams, whether in victory or defeat, continued to gain valuable skills as they worked together to improve. In athletics, in the classroom, in life, there are highs and lows, but the everyday progressions are significant.

Through them all, our prayer is that Trinity students would rely on their Creator for their strength and purpose.

“Blessed are those whose strength is in you…They go from strength to strength”  ~  Psalm 84: 5a, 7a
