Never grows old

Have you ever grown tired of hearing the words, “thank you”? I suspect the answer is no. When it comes to showing our appreciation to the men and women who faithfully teach our students, we’re hard pressed to thank them enough.
This entire week, in honor of national Teacher Appreciation Day (May 3), TCS parents and students have showered the faculty and staff with kind words, thoughtful gifts, and delicious food.
Gracious words are like a honeycomb,
sweetness to the soul and health to the body. ~ Proverbs 16:24
Who can gauge the impact of these expressions of gratitude? Has a simple word of thanks, like a taste of honey, refueled a weary teacher this week? The impact of each note, each gesture, each prayer, will likely continue long after these days have passed. Being appreciated never grows old.
The Parent Service Organization coordinated amazing events to show appreciation to our teachers! Thanks for making them feel so special!
Faculty and staff gathered to show appreciation to custodian Kris Ervin for her faithful service, as she leaves her position at Trinity. We will miss you, Kris!

Elizabeth Satterfield and Adam Robertson were honored at a recent banquet for the Honor Student Program. They were joined by Interim Administrator Charlie Byrer and School Counselor Teresa Barnett.
Second graders visited Washington’s Tavern in Farmington, PA, where they tried their hand at common tasks: sorting mail, washing clothes, baking muffins, and cleaning out horse stalls.
The Nations Fair, hosted by the fifth-grade, is always a popular attraction featuring colorful displays and exotic foods. The students did a great job with their projects and presentations!
The small-but-mighty girls’ high school track team captured the West Virginia Christian Athletic Tournament 2016 State Championship title. Congratulations!
