While practice doesn’t assure perfection, as the adage “practice makes perfect” insists, it surely is important. Practice makes us stronger and more confident. Practice takes what is new and makes it familiar, even second nature. Practicing is invaluable and irreplaceable. We can’t cut corners when it comes to learning or playing a sport or skill. We have to practice.
As the 3-week sports period comes to an end tomorrow, this blog celebrates the hard work of a few of the teams we’ve seen hitting it hard during the summer session. It is so good to see our student-athletes practicing—many of them in multiple sports—to work on their skills and teamwork. Go, Warriors!
