Sacrifice and courage

It seems fitting that Thanksgiving falls so close to Veterans Day this year. We count the men and women who have served this nation among our many blessings for which we are thankful to our Lord.
Every year Trinity expresses that gratitude in a simple way. On Veterans Day, we serve them a meal, honor them with patriotic songs, and have them stand and be recognized by our school community. We want them to know that they are respected and valued. We can never thank them enough, but we hope they feel our humble appreciation.
