Scrimmages, Sprinklers, and a Scramble

Even though it is summer, “Educating for Life” at Trinity Christian continues! Our campus is vibrant with the energetic voices of our summer campers, WELL friends, and Warrior athletes.
The watchword for Summer Camp is FUN and every week is filled with activities centered around themes like “Space” or “Around the World”. Sometimes even the snacks reflect the weekly theme! Campers are also putting the school’s bus to good use as they travel on field trips to destinations such as local pools, Hovatter’s Wildlife Zoo, and PNC Park to watch the Bucs play baseball. Back on campus, the campers take full advantage of the outdoor spaces by running through sprinklers on the field and playing on the playground.
Our little ones in The WELL have been hitting milestones in their development this summer while they are lovingly nurtured and spiritually fed. This August, we’re excited to be adding new WELL programs including part-time care options for infants through K2 (either 2-day T/Th or 3-day M/W/F) and a half-day combined 3 & 4-year-old preschool class. Warrior athletes have been working hard during the three-week period. It’s been great to see veteran players welcoming new teammates as they learn and perfect plays in preparation for the upcoming school year. It’s been a pleasure to welcome back alumni as assistant coaches and referees as well as one who is now a television reporter!
