Sharing moments
Posted on January 25, 2018
Last week the fifth-grade class excitedly awaited the news whether their teacher and expectant mother, Mrs. Darby, was carrying a boy or a girl. As Mrs. Darby doled out the cupcakes that hid pink or blue filling in the center, it was evident the class was convinced she was going to have a boy. Imagine their collective surprise when the center of their cupcakes revealed pink! Another little girl was on the way!
It’s so fun to witness our Trinity family share moments like this week-to-week. Of course, not all our experiences are as sweet as cupcakes or a baby girl. We face heartache and disappointments together, too, not always with grace. Sharing life pushes us to respond like Christ; to forgive one another when we fall, support each other when we’re weak, and celebrate the victories together. Not easy, but so worth it!
From gender-reveals to exploring science, our classrooms offer students a wide variety of experiences.
