Snow days
Posted on February 7, 2013
As is often the case this time of year, the weather has our plans hanging by a thread. Snow days may be more accurately termed “slow days”, reducing our daily schedules, even our driving, to a slower pace. Despite some of the inconveniences, hopefully these slower days provided rest, reflection. and family time, as well.
The recent school delays and cancellations didn’t prevent Trinity from recognizing the students recently placed on the Conduct Honor Roll. The students enjoyed a hot dog bag lunch provided by Trinity’s Partner in Education, My Bank, and a private donor.
Haught Diggity Dogz’s owner, Judy Haught, and her crew did a great job cooking and assembling so many meals under a time crunch!
At the beginning of the school year, TCS high school students volunteered their time and energies to assist in preparing the site of the new Ranch Community Store, located at 255 Don Knott’s Blvd, right next to Aldi’s. We’re excited to announce the soft opening of the store, which will benefit the ongoing ministry of Chestnut Mountain Ranch. Currently open from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, with expanded days/hours coming soon, the store welcomes your donations of gently used household items, tools, furnishings, sports equipment, and more.
