Sow to grow
Posted on January 16, 2020
Do you know what we love? Watching our kids grow! This is the time during the school year when the concepts and skills taught in the first semester get put to the test. Academic competitions start cropping up and, win or lose, our students learn and grow through the process.
We also see growth in the relationships that form early in the year. It’s wonderful to hear about fourth-grade teacher Mrs. Cunningham showing up at her students’ basketball game to cheer them on. Or about the high school girls basketball players and coaches who took the time from their own busy schedules to support Elyse, their team manager, at her game.
Fruit doesn’t show up overnight. Seeds must be planted, watered, and tended. We desire to see our students grow and thrive in ALL areas of their lives: spiritually, academically, emotionally, socially, and physically.
