Four Trinity boys from the junior class were selected to attend the American Legion Mountaineer Boys State (ALMBS). Described on their website as an “honors, leadership and citizenship academy,” the Mountaineer Boys State has a rich history of training young men since 1936. Dominic Raymond, Jack Goellner, Daniel Dawley, and Pierce Griffith will be participating in the program from June 8-14, 2014.
Also scheduled for June of 2014, the HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth) Leadership Seminar is designed to provide training and motivation to students throughout the country. Elizabeth Satterfield, Sophie Kenney, Hannah Wagner, and Hannah Keyser will be attending the seminar, which is aimed specifically at high school sophomores.
