Team effort

From post game interviews to business success stories, we hear a recurrent theme: “It was a team effort.” Good coaches and managers recognize the importance of a solid, cohesive team. But the idea didn’t start with them.

“But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.” 1 Corinthians 12:24b-25  (ESV)

God’s word has always emphasized the importance of each member being a necessary part of the whole. We’re thankful for the individuals who make up our school community. Each one of you plays a vital role in our ability to fulfill our mission.

Members of our sports teams have ample opportunity to contribute on and off of the court, course, or field. Whether by competing, offering encouragement or through prayer, teammates often become the best of friends.

The team at the Morgantown Books-a-Million store hosted a book drive for Trinity. As a result, our school received approximately $1800 worth of books for our library. Our students were so excited to see the new selections! We want to express our thanks to Books-a-Million and the many community members that contributed!

Yearbook class is one of the many ways our students can become involved. Our high school yearbook staff members have been spotted taking photos at many of the sporting events this fall.
This is the last year for school pictures for our seniors, so they had to have a little fun! So many people have sown into their lives through the years! We’re thankful that parents entrust them to us for their education and we’re so glad they are with us for several more months.
