Week of Contrasts
Posted on November 14, 2019
The photos in this week’s blog range from moving images of veterans standing solemnly during the Veterans Day Program to little ones snuggling a sweet kitten. The contrast is striking but reveals a continuum. The sacrifices of the men and women we honored on Monday have paid for the freedom for our students to learn in a Christian environment every day.
We are so grateful for the selfless service of our veterans. Even more, we are grateful to the Lord for His sacrifice to offer us freedom from the penalty of sin and death. Enjoy the patriotic songs from Monday’s program and the third-graders’ praises from last week’s Chapel as you watch this week’s video.
Plan to join us next week for the Drama Department’s presentation of Bad Auditions by Bad Actors. Performances are Thursday, November 21, and Friday, November 22, at 7 p.m. Admission is $8 per person and tickets are available in the school office during regular school hours. Trinity students are admitted for free but must come to the office for a ticket. See you there!
