Did you see our Board Chair Todd Dlugos’s video in last week’s blog? In it, he shares a crazy idea he had to use his goal of kicking a bad habit to benefit Trinity. You might wonder why he would “Dew” this for Trinity. He explains his heart for the school a little more in his new video.
As Todd stated, our students have amazing opportunities provided by caring teachers, staff, and coaches. He knows that first hand, not only as Board Chair but also as a parent of two Trinity graduates and one current student. Today marks the eleventh day of Todd’s journey. The cast, crew, and Director Nathan Boone put on a tremendous show with their production of The Lion King Jr.! We are so proud of this talented group of students for the endless hours they invested to entertain audiences for 4 performances in three days.
For the first time, the school hosted a B.A.S.I.C. (Bringing Applicable Skills Into the Classroom) Life Skills Conference for the senior class. Workshops were conducted by members of the local professional community, and covered topics such as First Aid, Time Management, Communications, and Car Care.
The Fine Arts Gala and Concert was a lovely celebration of the arts at Trinity! Families enjoyed the art displays prior to performances by the bands and choirs. Thank you to the Fine Arts student and faculty for sharing your talents with us!
Within the last week, the baseball team celebrated Senior Night and the track team competed at the Charleston Gazette-Mail Relays.
The first chick has hatched! The kindergarten class was so excited to welcome it into the world!
Dr. Heather Ayers shared dental hygiene tips with the Early Education classes as part of their community helpers unit.
